S. Chris Palermo utilizes his two decades of experience in the technology and telecom fields to negotiate the sales and implementation of technology solutions, sourcing and securing the best vendors in the industry for leading Global 100 and Fortune 500 companies.

After graduating from the University of Florida, Chris began his career as a telecommunications sales rep with Allnet Communications and was recruited by AT&T to join its Commercial Markets division a year later. His career quickly jettisoned after he was selected to join the company’s Leadership Continuity Program.  After a promotion to Global Markets division as National Account Representative, Chris accepted a position with Cable & Wireless, serving as Sales Manager for the South Florida Market.

Armed with this experience, Chris founded Global Communication Networks, Inc. in 1997. Under his leadership, the company has transcended in just over a decade into one of the leading providers of IP Transit, Colocation, and Network solutions to the largest companies in the world.

Chris is a hands-on leader who is personally involved with nearly all of GCN’s projects. His ability to identify solutions to the most complex technology issues has garnered the respect of both industry professionals, and earned him the informal title of “Bandwidth Doctor” from one of GCN’s largest clients.  Best-selling author Bruce Judson referenced Chris’s success story in his book Go it Alone; Chris was also the subject of a cover story in Phone+ Magazine (now Channel Partners) article entitled “Capitalizing on Colo.”

Chris credits his success to a deep commitment to work-life balance, dividing his time between working toward GCN’s continuing growth and spending time with his wife and three children.
